The THINKCAR 1008c 8 Channel Oscilloscope turns a Windows laptop into a full automotive scope. It runs on USB 2.0 power, so you never need a wall plug or a battery pack. Signal simulation and waveform recording

This unit also works as a programmable signal generator. That means it can simulate camshaft and crankshaft signals, so you can test an ECU without cranking the engine. In addition, the software records waveforms over long periods and plays them back afterwards. This helps a lot when a fault only shows up on a long road test. You also get maths functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and FFT, plus automatic readings for frequency and peak-to-peak voltage.

Reports your customer can actually read

Every capture can become a report. Press one button to print it, save it or take a screenshot. Because the file saves in several formats, you can email proof of the fault to a customer or a warranty assessor. Technicians who are new to waveforms can also open the built-in video help for step-by-step tutorials.

Simple setup
