How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return, please email our customer service team at support@launchsa.co.za with your order number in the subject line. Include a clear description of the issue along with relevant photographs if applicable.

We process all approved refunds within 7 business days of receiving your returned merchandise, ensuring a swift resolution.

Return Policy Guidelines

To qualify for a return, please ensure your request meets the following criteria:

  • Return Timeframe: All returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Requests beyond this period may incur handling fees, and no returns will be accepted after 30 days from receipt.
  • Handling Charges: Returned items may be subject to handling charges ranging from 15% to 30%, depending on the condition and circumstances of the return.
  • Product Condition: Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging. Products that are oil-stained, painted, sprayed, or otherwise altered will not be accepted for return.
  • Modification Policy: Launch SA cannot accept returns on items that have been modified, tampered with, or show signs of installation attempts.
  • Detailed Return Reasons: Please provide specific, detailed reasons for your return (e.g., “bumper mounting bracket misaligned,” “headlight lens cracked on arrival,” or “fitment incompatible with specified model”). Vague descriptions such as “defective,” “wrong part,” or “doesn’t work” will not be accepted.
  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: All automotive parts include a factory warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damage from use.
  • Promotional Items: Products purchased during promotional campaigns or special sales are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Custom Orders: Special-order items requested specifically for your vehicle are not eligible for return.
  • Official Procedures: All returns and exchanges must follow our formal process. We cannot honor verbal requests, handwritten notes, or unofficial communications regarding returns.
  • Replacement Parts: When a component fails prematurely due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, Launch SA will provide a replacement part. Cash refunds are not available for defective items—only product replacements.
  • Professional Installation Requirement: Warranty coverage is only valid when parts are installed by a qualified, certified automotive technician. Installation by uncertified individuals voids the warranty.
  • Limitation of Liability: Launch SA’s liability is limited to supplying a replacement component only. We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from product failure.
  • Processing Duration: Please allow up to 7 working days from the date we collect your return for processing and assessment.

Additional Costs and Deductions

Returns may be subject to handling fees and collection charges. When applicable, these costs will be deducted from your refund credit. For electrical and electronic components, additional testing fees may apply to verify functionality and resaleability, along with repackaging costs. These charges ensure the integrity of products for future customers.

Certified Installation Requirement

To maintain warranty coverage and ensure optimal performance, all automotive parts, components, and equipment must be installed by a qualified professional technician. If a warranty claim arises, customers must provide proof of professional installation. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain installation documentation from their certified technician.
